Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace, a global manufacturer of aircraft engine components, is seeking an entry-level Press Operator for First Shift at its Newburyport, MA facility. This full-time role is onsite and involves operating presses (2-ton to 100-ton) and following documented production instructions.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, is eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, and can work in a regulated environment under ITAR/EAR.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform all work in a safe manner, using appropriate PPE and following safety guidelines for the assigned task.
• Operate presses – 2-ton to 100-ton
• Consistently follow documented production instructions
• Perform visual inspection while running presses
• Maintain a neat and clean work area at all times
• Follow all applicable AS9100 quality procedures

We’re looking for an Entry-Level Press Operator for First Shift at our Newburyport facility.

Location:

Newburyport, MA.

This position is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all work in a safe manner, using appropriate PPE and following safety guidelines for the assigned task.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Working Conditions:

• Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
