Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking an Entry-Level Press Operator for the 1st shift at our Newburyport facility. This full-time, on-site role involves operating 2-ton to 100-ton presses, following production instructions, and ensuring quality through visual inspections.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, be fluent in English, and be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. ITAR/EAR compliance is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity:

We’re looking for anEntry-Level Press Operator for 1st Shiftat our Newburyport facility.

Location:

Newburyport, MA, 100% Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Perform all work in a safe manner, using appropriate PPE and following safety guidelines for the assigned task.
• Operate presses – 2-ton to 100-ton
• Consistently follow documented production instructions
• Perform visual inspection while running presses
• Maintain a neat and clean work area at all times
• Follow all applicable AS9100 quality procedures

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be proficient in the English language, both verbal and written.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated mechanical ability is strongly preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

Working Conditions:

• Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
• Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
