Job summary

Madison Medical seeks an experienced Patient Service Representative II for its Downtown Milwaukee Internal Medicine clinic. This full-time, patient-facing role supports appointment coordination, patient registration, insurance verification, and prior authorizations, ensuring a smooth patient experience.

Working Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with no weekends or holidays, you will collaborate with physicians and staff to maintain accurate records and deliver compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Requires experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting.
• Proficient in scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and prior authorizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients with professionalism and empathy.
• Answer calls, screen messages, and route requests.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate physician schedules.
• Verify insurance coverage and patient eligibility.
• Obtain prior authorizations and help coordinate follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate patient registration and demographic data.
