The St. Luke’s Central Staffing Department provides support to Network Campuses to ensure appropriate staffing levels, enabling our PCA's to provide top-quality care. The Network Float (Central Staffing) PCA is an experienced professional motivated by the challenge of providing care across clinical settings in the network. The PCA is responsible for patient care and participates in data collection, planning, and implementation of patient care.

Sit up to 7 hours/day, stand up to 10 hours/day, walk 6 hours/day, lift objects up to 75 lbs, transport patients up to 400 lbs, and other physical demands as detailed.
High School diploma or equivalent required; healthcare training preferred. One year recent inpatient hospital experience required. Certification requirements include BLS within 60 days of employment. Basic computer skills needed. Participation in St. Luke’s APC and MT courses or proven competency required.
