Job summary

San Manuel Band of Mission Indians in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Pastry/Bakery associate to support daily production in a hotel/resort kitchen. The role involves following recipes, maintaining sanitation, and preparing items for service across shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down the station, labeling and dating products, and collaborating with the Pastry Chef and team to ensure quality and timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year of baking experience.
• Food Handlers Card.
• Work assigned shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items as directed, in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications as set by the bakery management.
• Set up and break down station according to bakery guidelines and SNHD standards.
• Restock all items as needed throughout shift.
• Communicate with management to address issues or circumstances encountered throughout the day.
• Cleans and maintains work area; practice good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
• Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
• Perform additional responsibilities, as requested by the Pastry Chef, Pastry Sous Chef at any time.
