Rochester Regional Health's Maternal Fetal Medicine team is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join the practice full-time on-site at RGH & Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY. You will evaluate, diagnose, and manage OB/GYN and women’s health needs in collaboration with physicians and the care team, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• MS in nursing is required for this position.
• NP - Nurse Practitioner certification with NYS licensure.
• RN license in New York State is required.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and manage OB/GYN and women’s health concerns.
• Obtain histories, perform exams, and develop treatment plans.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and ultrasound as indicated.
• Diagnose and treat within NP scope and credentialing.
• Prescribe medications and monitor response to care.
• Provide patient education and counseling on diagnoses and plan.
• Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians and the care team.
• Make referrals to physicians, specialists, and resources.
• Maintain timely documentation in the medical record.

Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates could vary based on position details and FTE.
