Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Loan Processor in Mount Pleasant, SC to review borrower information, assemble loan packages, and ensure compliance with RESPA, TIL, HMDA and Reg B/Z. You will coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and customers, manage the file from intake to underwriting, review credit, income, assets, and ensure complete documentation.

Experience with Encompass and strong math/communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass.
• Knowledge of RESPA, Regulation Z and Regulation B requirements.
• Familiarity with DU and LP, Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Excellent math and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review borrower’s credit, employment, income and assets per loan program.
• Assemble the loan package in underwriting order.
• Verify required documentation and complete the loan checklist.
• Ensure application is complete and accurate; identify potential underwriting issues.
• Prepare loan approval summaries and required disclosures.
• Coordinate with Loan Officer, customer and underwriter to obtain missing documents.
• Maintain pipeline by submitting reports within turnaround times.
• Assist in loan setup, closing, and servicing to clear suspense items.
