Job summary

Re:Build Manufacturing is seeking an experienced journey-level millwright for on-site work in the Rochester area. You will install, align, and commission industrial machinery at customer facilities, with additional duties in dismantling, rigging, and preventative maintenance. Strong reading of drawings and safety discipline are essential.

We value precision, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. The role operates Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime and travel within the Rochester region.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of journey-level millwright experience.
• Able to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Willing to travel within the Rochester area.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred but not required.
• CDL Class A preferred but not required.
• Physically able to climb, lift heavy objects, and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and commission industrial machinery at customer facilities.
• Dismantle, move, reassemble, and reinstall equipment.
• Align shafts, conveyors, motors, gearboxes using precision tools.
• Bolt, weld, rivet components to foundations or structures.
• Operate lathes, mills, and other shop equipment as needed.
• Perform rigging and crane work safely.
• Assist in mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
• Follow safety standards and participate in toolbox talks.
