Re:Build Manufacturing is seeking a journey-level millwright for on-site installation and maintenance across the Rochester area. You will read mechanical drawings, align complex machinery, and perform precision rigging, with opportunities to mentor junior team members.

The role requires 10–15 years of hands-on experience, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to travel within the region. The job offers a competitive hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Completion of an apprenticeship or 10–15 years of journey-level experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred, CDL Class A preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy for high‑precision work.
• Good communication and collaboration with clients and teams.
• Physically able to climb, lift heavy objects, work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Willing to work overtime and travel primarily within the Rochester area.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and commission industrial machinery at customer facilities.
• Dismantle, move, reassemble, and reinstall machinery on site.
• Align shafts, conveyors, motors, and gearboxes with precision tools.
• Bolt, weld, rivet, and fasten components to foundations or structures.
• Operate lathes, mills, and other shop equipment as needed.
• Perform rigging and crane operations safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Follow OSHA and safety standards; participate in safety talks and audits.
• Mentor less experienced team members; maintain craftsmanship.
• Communicate effectively with clients and engineering teams.
