Job summary

CMBG³ Law P.C. is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with 3 to 5 years of experience to support complex matters in state and federal courts. You will manage case materials, anticipate attorneys’ needs, and contribute across all phases of litigation with independence and professional maturity.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of litigation paralegal experience in one or more listed practice areas.
• Strong familiarity with legal documents and state/federal procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and case management/document management systems.
• Experience tracking billable time and meeting billable-hour requirements.

Responsibilities

• Draft initial case pleadings for attorney review, including notices of appearance, answers, and related filings in state and federal courts.
• Review, analyze, and summarize discovery responses served by all parties in complex matters.
• Conduct factual investigations of parties, jobsites, companies, products, and other entities using research tools.
• Maintain and update case management software to reflect case developments, filings, and documentation.
• Draft subpoenas and coordinate the collection of records in accordance with procedural rules.
• Locate, evaluate, and conduct pre-interviews with potential trial witnesses.
• Identify and analyze key documents to support depositions and motions.
• Coordinate with expert witnesses, including retention and review of materials.
• Research applicable state and federal case law to support pre-trial motions and strategy.
• Review, summarize, and organize deposition testimony for motions, hearings, and cross-examinations.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, notebooks, exhibits, and witness files.
• Maintain organized case files and trial materials before, during, and after hearings.
• Additional responsibilities as requested by Management
