You will work under Partners and Senior Counsel, developing litigation skills across all phases from pre-suit to trial, with mentorship and a strong client-service focus.

The role emphasizes diligence, creativity, collaboration, and building subject-matter expertise within a fast-paced environment. California bar admission is required; 0–7 years experience encouraged.

Qualifikationen

• J.D. from an accredited law school and California bar admission.
• 0–7 years of litigation experience, preferably in product liability or complex civil matters.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong client-service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents in product liability or complex litigation.
• Prepare, analyze, and respond to written discovery; manage discovery with multiple parties.
• Develop case strategies and trial themes with increasing autonomy under supervision.
• Research state and federal case law, statutes, and regulatory frameworks.
• Interview and prepare witnesses, experts, and corporate representatives for testimony.
• Take and defend depositions of lay and expert witnesses.
• Argue motions and participate in court appearances under supervision.
• Draft pretrial reports and assist with case evaluations and risk analyses.
• Participate in mediations, settlement conferences, and hearings.
