Qualifications

• High CSI is a must.

• Ability to pass pre-employment screening including background checks and MVR.

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently per standards.
• Perform work on repair orders, including complex diagnostics and repairs.
• Identify safety, maintenance, or repair needs and communicate findings clearly.
• Road-test vehicles as needed to verify repairs.
• Maintain documentation of findings, repairs, and parts used.
• Collaborate with service advisors, parts, and other technicians to complete repairs.
• Support and mentor apprentice and developing technicians.
• Stay current on manufacturer training, bulletins, procedures, and regulations.
• Serve as a technical resource for the team with complex diagnostics.

Salary: $35 - $55 / flat rate, based on experience and certifications

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Perform work outlined on repair orders, including complex diagnostics and repairs, while maintaining quality and productivity expectations.
• Identify additional safety, maintenance, or repair needs and communicate findings clearly with the Service Advisor.
• Road-test vehicles as needed to verify repairs and ensure proper vehicle operation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of diagnostic findings, repairs, and parts used.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors, Parts, and other technicians to complete repairs efficiently and meet customer expectations.
• Support and mentor apprentice and developing technicians as assigned; share technical knowledge and best practices.
• Stay current on manufacturer training, technical bulletins, diagnostic procedures, safety requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Serve as a technical resource for the team by assisting with complex diagnostics, difficult repairs, and technical problem-solving.
