Experienced Infusion Commercial Insurance Collector

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Collection specialist to join our team. This full-time role involves contract analysis, reimbursement, denial management, appeals, and resolving billing issues with insurance companies or responsible parties. Local candidates near DFW may work from the office.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, in-depth knowledge of collection practices, and compliance with Federal and State regulations.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years in healthcare industry and medical billing/collections required.
• Home Infusion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate payments/denials, apply corrections.
• Identify bad debts, initiate write-offs, resolve overpayments.
• Process refunds, maintain communication with departments.
• Ensure activities comply with regulations.
• Verify billing accuracy, troubleshoot payment issues.
• Document calls and call details consistently.
• Maximize claim reimbursements, resolve denials within 5 days.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Understand NDC, infusion supplies, insurance plans, medical terminology.
• Share knowledge, work collaboratively.
