Experienced Infusion Commercial Insurance Collector

Join us as an Experienced Infusion Commercial Insurance Collector at AIS Healthcare.

This is a 100% remote position, requiring 3-5 years of commercial insurance collection experience; home infusion experience is preferred.

Advanced Infusion Care specializes in IV and Sub Q immunoglobulin therapy. Committed to innovation, stewardship, and unity, we focus on advancing quality and improving lives through quality products and services.

We seek a motivated Accounts Receivable Collection expert for a full-time, remote role, with an option to work from our DFW office. Responsibilities include contract analysis, reimbursement, denial management, appeals, and resolving billing issues with insurance companies.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, deep knowledge of collection practices, and compliance with federal and state regulations.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3-5 years of healthcare industry experience
• 3-5 years of medical billing and collections experience
• Preferred: Home infusion experience
• CPR +/Caretend experience is a plus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Respect patient rights and confidentiality
• Follow up on invoices for prompt payment
• Evaluate and process payments, denials, and adjustments
• Identify and resolve overpayments and duplicate payments
• Process refunds and maintain communication with departments
• Ensure compliance with regulatory mandates
• Verify billing accuracy and troubleshoot payment discrepancies
• Document interactions thoroughly
• Maximize claim reimbursement and resolve denials within 5 days
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality
• Understand NDC numbers, infusion supplies, and insurance plans
• Share knowledge and work collaboratively

• Understanding of Revenue Cycle Management functions
• Good judgment and legal compliance
• Excellent communication and relationship skills
• Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
• Proficiency in ICD-9/10, medical terminology, and Microsoft Office
