Job summary

Rodenhiser Home Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead to take ownership of new installation projects from the initial video preview through all steps of the Install System process.

You will manage on-time, on-budget installations while building strong customer rapport and coordinating with the Project Manager and Install Coordinators. You will mentor apprentices and maintain organized job sites, driving documentation and post-job reviews.

Qualifications

• EPA certification and knowledge of installation and venting codes.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Completed certified HVAC installation training program and apprenticeship.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead all facets of new HVAC system installation from video preview through all steps in the Install System process.
• Complete jobs on time and under budget, helping achieve the company’s financial goals.
• Establish good customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction.
• Work with Project Manager and Install Coordinators to ensure completion of jobs.
• Communicate with Project Manager and office staff on a daily basis.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
• Able to successfully complete follow up calls in current area of expertise.
• Train and mentor apprentices to facilitate on-time, high quality installations.
• Consistent accuracy and timeliness of all paperwork, including checklists, invoices and post-job videos.
• Participate actively in all department meetings, technical and vendor trainings.
