Job summary

Brooks Brothers seeks a Fitter/Tailor in Peabody, MA to deliver expert alterations and fabric expertise to customers with timely, high‑quality service. You will join the Alterations department and report to the Store Manager, upholding Brooks Brothers standards of service.

You will sew, measure, hem, and fit garments, repair defects, and maintain a clean, organized store environment while representing the brand's values of respect and excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' tailoring experience.
• Knowledge of clothing and shirt construction and fabrics.
• Retail or custom clothing sales experience.
• Scheduling flexibility across days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to communicate with customers on the sales floor.
• Proficiency with special order tools, fabrics and programs.

Responsibilities

• Achieve personal productivity and assist in meeting Brooks Brothers productivity goals.
• Sew, measure, hem, and fit garments to meet customer needs, using approved methods.
• Utilize Brooks Brothers systems to meet productivity goals.
• Provide high quality and customer service within call dates.
• Repair or replace defective garment parts such as pockets, zippers, buttons, and linings.
• Maintain store cleanliness and participate in seamless workflow with the team.
• Represent the brand as an ambassador, adhering to code of conduct and service expectations.
