General Parts Group in Memphis, TN is seeking an Experienced Dispatcher for the Service & Repair Division. This onsite role coordinates installations, maintenance, and repairs of commercial kitchen and HVAC/R equipment, serving as the link between customers and field technicians.

The role demands 3+ years in dispatch within service or repair, strong customer service, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a dispatch role within the service or repair industry.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and clear communication.
• Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and/or HVAC/R systems is a strong plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-moving environment with changes.
• Quick thinker who can troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and adapt.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and communicate with customers, dealers, and sales reps to understand service needs and schedule accordingly.
• Create Service Orders by inputting job details and service scope into dispatch software.
• Optimize technician workflow with service manager and peers based on real-time demands.
• Daily scheduling: notify technicians, monitor workload and hours, adjust as needed.
• Parts coordination with Parts Department to ensure availability for timely service.
• Account management: create and maintain customer profiles with up-to-date info.
• Understand credit and collections protocols and handle customer interactions appropriately.
• Promote and adhere to safety policies.
