General Parts Group in Memphis, TN is hiring an Experienced Dispatcher for our Service & Repair Division. This onsite role coordinates installations, maintenance, and repairs of commercial foodservice and HVAC/R equipment, acting as the link between customers and field technicians.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a dispatch role within the service or repair industry.
• Strong customer service focus with professional communication.
• Technical familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment or HVAC/R is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with changes.
• Willingness to collaborate with technicians, managers, and peers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with customers, dealers, and sales reps to understand service needs and schedule accordingly.
• Create service orders by inputting job details and service scope into dispatch software.
• Optimize technician workflow with service manager and peers based on real-time demands.
• Handle daily scheduling, notify technicians, monitor workload and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate with Parts Department to ensure parts are available for timely service delivery.
• Maintain customer profiles with accurate, up-to-date information and manage accounts.
• Understand credit and collections protocols and handle customer interactions appropriately.
• Promote and adhere to safety policies and safe work practices.
