Frozen Food Express in Lithonia, GA, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to handle daily customer interactions, input load data, and ensure satisfaction. You’ll act as the primary liaison among customers, operations, and sales to resolve issues and maintain accurate information in the system.

The role requires 3 years of customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of recent customer service experience.
• Not an entry level, administrative position; requires seasoned customer service skills.
• Demonstrate skills outlined in the job description.
• Transportation or logistics experience preferred.
• HS Diploma or Equivalent.
• Keyboarding, data entry and 10-key experience.
• Working knowledge of AS400 and EDI.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer service functions related to the business.
• Handle daily customer-related situations, account development and satisfaction.
• Receive load information by telephone, fax or electronic tendering.
• Input all load information into the operating system accurately and promptly.
• Serve as the customer’s first line of communication and refer to proper department as needed.
• Use telephone skills to present a professional image and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage service issues by researching and coding failures in the system.
• Anticipate and facilitate problem resolution on load issues.
• Collect and maintain current customer information in the system.
• Communicate service issues and new opportunities to the sales department.
• Communicate professionally with customers, operations and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Regular and reliable attendance is required.
