Job summary

Tricon in Carlin, Nevada seeks an Equipment Operator with concrete experience to support our concrete and civil construction projects. You will operate heavy equipment on-site, assist with foundations, slabs, and formwork, and help ensure production quality.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of equipment operation, can read site plans, and adheres to OSHA safety protocols. A valid driver’s license and OSHA training are preferred. This is a full-time, outdoor role with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of heavy equipment operation experience.
• Experience on concrete projects preferred.
• Ability to read site plans, grade stakes, and layouts.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, and backhoes safely and efficiently.
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and material handling for concrete projects.
• Assist with site prep for foundations, slabs, footings, and flatwork.
• Support concrete crews during forming, pouring, and placement operations.
• Read blueprints, grade stakes, and site plans.
