Job summary

Tricon-Industrial Construction is seeking an Equipment Operator with concrete experience for our Carlin, NV projects. You will operate heavy equipment to support site prep, grading, excavation, and concrete placement, ensuring quality and efficiency on civil construction tasks.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in heavy equipment and concrete environments, reads blueprints, and adheres to safety standards. This full-time role involves outdoor work, potential overtime, and career growth

Qualifications

• 2+ years of heavy equipment operation experience.
• Experience on concrete projects (foundations, slabs, footings, or utilities) preferred.
• Ability to read site plans, grade stakes, and layouts.
• Strong understanding of equipment safety and operation standards.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in physically demanding outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, and backhoes safely and efficiently.
• Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and material handling for concrete projects.
• Assist with site prep for foundations, slabs, footings, and flatwork.
• Support concrete crews during forming, pouring, and placement operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and site plans.
• Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Monitor and adjust equipment operation to maintain grade and alignment.
• Load, move, and place materials safely across the job site.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols at all times.
• Maintain clean and organized job site conditions.
