Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to be the primary on-site contact for HVAC commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and startup at customer locations within a defined market. You will leverage air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts to ensure optimal system performance.

As a field-based technician, you will work with internal and external partners on new facility setups and retrofits, with opportunities for training, growth, and competitive

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC field experience preferred.
• EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site requirements for installation and repairs.
• Serve as the direct customer contact on assigned projects and diagnose/repair equipment at customer locations.
• Use software, tools, and blueprints to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
• Maintain safety standards and manage company assets on-site.
• Possibly work overtime and weekends to meet project needs.
