Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a senior HVAC technician to serve as the primary service and maintenance contact across a defined market. You will commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial settings, using your knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts.

You will coordinate with partners for new facilities and retrofits, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 10+ years of HVAC experience is typical.
• EPA certification preferred; technical training is beneficial.
• Valid driver's license for 12+ months is required.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end testing, programming download, start-up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
• Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment on site.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements and forecast issues.
• Use blueprints/engineering specs to diagnose and repair units with hand-tools and software.
• Maintain safety standards and track company assets; mentor team members.
