DOC Services in New Jersey seeks a Commercial HVAC/R Field Service Technician who will travel to customer sites to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficient operation.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing walk-in freezers and ice machines, performing preventive maintenance, documenting service activities, coordinating with store managers and supervisors, and staying current with OSHA procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years of commercial HVAC/R experience, servicing walk-in freezers, reach-in freezers, coolers and ice machines.
• Valid EPA certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and field service apps to document work orders.
• Ability to supply your own tools for maintenance and repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including walk-in freezers, reach-in freezers, coolers, and ice machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep systems running efficiently.
• Identify and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
• Inspect equipment, identify defective components, and complete repairs using hand and power tools.
• Identify parts and supplies needed to complete repairs and resolve service calls efficiently.
• Document service activities and communicate updates with store managers, regional DOC supervisor, and the assigned office administrator.
• Maintain your company vehicle and keep tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow DOC safety procedures and applicable OSHA requirements.
• Perform other duties as needed to support customers and team.
