Job summary

DOC Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites, diagnose and repair equipment, and perform preventive maintenance.

You will be responsible for maintaining HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial environments, including walk-in freezers, coolers, and ice machines. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and a valid EPA certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience including servicing walk-in freezers, reach-in freezers, coolers, ice machines.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including walk-in freezers, reach-in freezers, coolers, and ice machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep systems running efficiently.
• Identify and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
• Inspect equipment, identify defective components, and complete repairs using hand and power tools.
• Identify parts and supplies needed to complete repairs and resolve service calls efficiently.
• Document service activities and communicate updates with store managers, regional DOC supervisor, and assigned office administrator.
• Maintain company vehicle and tools in good condition.
• Follow DOC safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Perform other duties to support customers and team.
