WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FEW MULTI SKILLED CARPENTERS.

Handyman Connection of Winchester, VA is seeking a Carpenter with experience as a residential carpenter to build decks, build screen porches, replace doors, install trim, install shelving, custom carpentry projects, etc. Handyman Connection is a locally owned and operated, well established Home Improvement Company serving Frederick County (VA), Clarke County (VA), Warren County (VA), Shenandoah County (VA), Berkeley County (WV), Jefferson County (WV), and Morgan County (WV) with excellent customer service and quality work.

What You Will Receive

1. Earn up to $1,200/week, depending on your skills and availability.
2. Work as an Independent Contractor on your own schedule.
3. Professional Office Support - scheduling, customer support, job tracking, billing.
4. Successful marketing campaign that brings us well qualified customers.

Responsibilities

1. You must have experience as a residential carpenter and a positive attitude.
2. Experienced with installing Trex and/or Timbertech Composite Decking, various types of composite or vinyl railing systems, and Screen-Tite Screening Systems.
3. Constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
4. Ability to determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects.
5. Ability to read and interpret plans.
6. Knowledge of local building codes.
7. Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues, and present a description of a work order to a customer.

Requirements

1. Valid Driver's License and own transportation.
2. Your own tools.
3. Business liability insurance (for Independent Contractor).
4. VA or WV Contractors License (for Independent Contractor).
5. Business license (for Independent Contractor).
6. 10 years of professional experience in residential home repairs and remodeling.
7. Pass a criminal background check - no criminal convictions.
