Role & Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot basic incidents in AWS environments with support from senior team members.
AWS Infrastructure Support
- Deploy and manage AWS resources, including EC2, S3, and RDS, under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Assist in automating infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Contribute to implementing security best practices and maintaining compliance across AWS accounts.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Document processes, update runbooks, and track tasks using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Collaborate with the team to support ongoing projects and provide updates to clients and stakeholders.
Incident Response
- Participate in monitoring and responding to alerts during business hours and in on-call rotations after sufficient training.
- Assist in performing root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing long-term fixes under supervision.
Learning & Growth
- Stay updated with AWS services, DevOps tools, and industry best practices.
- Develop skills in scripting, automation, and cloud infrastructure management.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or IT support (12 years of relevant experience preferred).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as New Relic, AWS CloudWatch, or similar solutions.
- Foundational knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, and IAM.
- Familiarity with ticketing and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in cloud and DevOps practices.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
