Sam Leman Automotive Group in Bloomington, IL is seeking an experienced Automotive License & Title Clerk to join our growing accounting team. The role focuses on titles, registrations, and dealership paperwork, leveraging your two-plus years of title experience to keep operations compliant.

You will process vehicle titles, registrations, tax payments, and title assignments, handle in-state and out-of-state transactions, reconcile statements, and support other accounting tasks in a collaborative

Qualificações

• 2+ years of automotive dealership license and title experience REQUIRED.
• Strong knowledge of Illinois title and registration procedures.
• Previous dealership accounting office experience.
• Familiarity with CDK, CVR, ATC, or Dealertrack preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Strong communication skills and a dependable, team-oriented attitude.
• Experience with Illinois dealership compliance is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Process vehicle titles, registrations, tax payments, and title assignments.
• Handle paperwork for new and used vehicle sales, dealer trades, and out-of-state transactions.
• Stock vehicles into dealership inventory systems.
• Reconcile statements, accounting entries, and related documentation.
• Research and resolve title discrepancies and registration issues.
• Ensure compliance with Illinois titling regulations and dealership requirements.
• Communicate with customers, lenders, and state agencies as needed.
• Assist with additional accounting responsibilities and special projects.
