Job summary

Sam Leman Automotive Group is seeking an experienced License & Title Clerk to join our Bloomington accounting team. You will process vehicle titles, registrations, and related paperwork, ensuring accuracy and timely completion in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of automotive dealership titling experience and a solid understanding of Illinois titling procedures. You will work with CDK/CVR/ATC/Dealertrack and collaborate with customers, lenders, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of automotive dealership license and title experience.
• Strong knowledge of Illinois titling and registration procedures.
• Experience in an automotive dealership accounting office.
• Proficiency with dealership systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Process vehicle titles, registrations, tax payments, and title assignments accurately.
• Prepare and process paperwork for new/used vehicle sales and trades.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and dealership requirements.
• Stock vehicles in inventory systems and reconcile records.
• Research and resolve title discrepancies and registration issues.
• Communicate with customers, financial institutions, and state agencies.
• Maintain organized records and timely processing of paperwork.
• Cross-train in additional accounting office duties as needed.
• Support the Office Manager with special projects.
