BAM! Automotive is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor who knows how to build relationships, sell automotive repairs, and help run a successful repair shop.

We’re an independently owned automotive repair business that believes great service advisors are much more than order takers. They’re sales professionals, problem solvers, customer advocates, and essential members of a high-performing team.

We’re looking for someone who is confident in their abilities, takes ownership of their results, and wants to be rewarded for exceptional performance.

We guarantee $60,000 annually, with the opportunity to earn $120,000 or more based on performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Sell Automotive Repairs: Confidently present estimates, explain recommendations, overcome objections, and close sales.
• Build Customer Relationships: Establish trust through excellent communication, transparency, and professionalism.
• Manage Repair Orders: Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
• Present Digital Vehicle Inspections: Help customers understand their vehicle's condition and make informed repair decisions.
• Prepare Accurate Estimates: Build comprehensive estimates that properly account for labor, parts, and repair procedures.
• Communicate Proactively: Keep customers informed throughout the repair process and follow through on commitments.
• Drive Shop Performance: Contribute to sales, gross profit, labor hours sold, and customer retention goals.
• Solve Problems: Take ownership of customer concerns and work toward positive outcomes.
• Support the Team: Work collaboratively with technicians, fellow advisors, and management to keep the shop productive and successful.

What We’re Looking For

This is an experienced position. We’re looking for someone who understands the automotive repair business and can contribute from day one.

Our ideal candidate has:

• Proven experience as an automotive service advisor or service writer.
• A demonstrated ability to sell automotive repairs and maintenance.
• Strong automotive knowledge and the ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Confidence discussing repair costs, presenting estimates, and asking for the sale.
• The ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and personal accountability.
• A positive attitude and a desire to continually improve.

Experience with Tekmetric and digital vehicle inspections is a plus.
