Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. seeks an Experienced Asphalt Operator to support road construction and paving crews in the Upstate, SC area. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with road building and experience operating a paver, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities include operating multiple machines, training in production roles, and supporting dust control and equipment maintenance. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• General mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to maintain safe working conditions.
• Self-starter/ability to work without close supervision.
• Perform daily pre and post inspections with documentation as per company policies.
• Previous experience in a mining environment preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Overtime is required and may include Saturdays.

• Be trained in various production positions and fill in as needed.
• Run water truck to control dust on roadways.

Rogers Group is seeking applicants for the position of Experienced Asphalt Operator to work with road construction and highway paving crews in Upstate, SC area. The successful candidate for this position will have familiarity and experience working in road building and operating a paver and will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

Job Details

• Full-Time
• Wages starting at $21/hr +/- based on experience

Job Responsibilities

• Running various pieces of equipment as needed – such as a bobcat, skid steer, and haul truck. Dozer, trackhoe,
• Being trained in various production positions and filling in as needed during vacations, absences, and increased production demand times.
• Run water truck to control dust on roadways.
• Report equipment problems and identify them to management; help maintain quarry and equipment.
• Complete daily inspections and equipment pre-shift report – if applicable.
• Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management.
