How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

This position supports, manages, and executes initiatives that define the Delta Sky Club (DSC) and Delta One experience. The role collaborates with DSC operations, Regional Operations Managers, and Service Partner leaders (SodexoMAGIC and Compass Group) to ensure brand consistency and innovation. It involves managing vendor and service partner relations, monitoring food and beverage offerings, and understanding the marketplace and financial impacts of product decisions. The role works cross-functionally with departments such as Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, Onboard Services, and Sales.

The Delta Sky Club Experience Manager will oversee the Sky Club Marketing Specialist and the future Sky Club Training Specialist, working with the senior team on current and new clubs.

Based in Atlanta GO, reporting to the Director of Operations and Design, with up to 50% travel required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Build and maintain relationships with external Service Partners (SodexoMAGIC and Compass Group), including participating in scorecard evaluations and quarterly reviews with Delta Supply Chain Management.
  2. Collaborate with culinary leaders to ensure an evolving, innovative food program that meets guest needs.
  3. Manage beverage programs, including regular updates, training resources, and annual Bar Camps.
  4. Identify and implement amenities enhancing guest experience (music, signatures, cleanliness, magazines, digital news, events, etc.).
  5. Monitor experience program execution through club visits and audit reviews; gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  6. Benchmark competitor products and services to identify opportunities.
  7. Support leadership in new product rollouts and club openings, ensuring staff are well-informed.
  8. Determine marketing needs related to experience programs and support the Sky Club Marketing Specialist.
  9. Lead bar design reviews for new and renovated clubs.
  10. Use statistical analysis to evaluate product performance and recommend improvements.
  11. Ensure solutions are feasible, executable, and within budget.
  12. Support other DSC initiatives as part of the senior leadership team.
  13. Lead planning for the annual DSC Leadership Conference.
  14. Coordinate the LocalFlavor project.
  15. Communicate with Delta Digital regarding web and app updates, including hours of operation.
  16. Support new club openings and activities.
  17. Lead photography for new and renovated clubs.

Minimum qualifications:

  1. At least 10 years of experience in food & beverage, with culinary and beverage expertise preferred.
  2. Minimum 5 years supporting customer-focused marketing, experience, or loyalty programs in hospitality.
  3. Self-starter with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  4. Strong problem-solving and influencing skills.
  5. Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure with professionalism.
  6. Ability to work within the Delta Sky Club Team Guidelines, emphasizing accountability, emotional intelligence, understanding, recognition, punctuality, prioritization, and safety.
  7. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  8. At least 18 years old with legal authorization to work in the U.S.
