Job summary

Build-A-Bear in Columbus, OH, is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Easton Town Center location. You will assist the store manager with daily operations, guest service, staff oversight, and executing sales and marketing initiatives to drive store success.

You will coach Bear Builders, manage scheduling, maintain brand standards, and ensure inventory accuracy while delivering a best-in-class Experience First culture for Guests and associates.

Qualifications

• Two years store management experience in a customer-centric environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS, scheduling, HRIS and time-keeping tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Workshop Manager in assigning daily tasks and guiding staff.
• Lead shifts, coach team members, and uphold policy standards.
• Drive sales through guest-focused service and merchandising execution.
• Oversee inventory, receiving, stocking, and counts.
