Job summary

Build-A-Bear is seeking a Full-Time Store Manager – Temp (Seasonal) to lead a busy workshop and store team. You will coach AWMs, SLs, and Bear Builders to deliver an exceptional Guest experience and meet financial targets, while ensuring brand standards and policy compliance.

You will create weekly schedules, guide daily tasks, and participate in hiring decisions. The role requires strong leadership and the ability to work a retail schedule including holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a customer-centric business.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience using store technology solutions (POS, scheduling, HRIS, time and attendance).

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and team performance by coaching AWMs, SLs, and Bear Builders, and manage payroll, forecasting, and scheduling.
• Create weekly schedules and assign daily tasks with the Assistant Workshop Manager.
• Make hiring and promotion decisions with input from the Assistant Workshop Manager.
• Lead shifts, enforce policies, and coordinate with DM/HR for disciplinary actions.
• Ensure merchandising displays adhere to brand standards.
• Oversee inventory management and counts.
• Build and develop a high-performing team with the AWM.
