Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Chief Workshop Manager (CWM) to lead the workshop, drive guest satisfaction, and achieve financial goals while upholding brand standards. You will oversee a high-performing team and ensure an exceptional Guest experience across daily operations.

The role includes coaching AWMs, SLs, and Bear Builders, creating schedules, making hiring decisions, managing payroll, inventory, and merchandising, and enforcing policy with integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years management experience in a customer-centric business.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience using store technology solutions (POS, scheduling, HRIS, time and attendance).
• Preferred: 2-4 years of store management experience; Associate’s degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and team performance by coaching leaders and Bear Builders to deliver an Experience First culture.
• Create weekly schedules and assign daily tasks with the AWM, directing work and priorities.
• Make hiring and promotion decisions with input from the AWM.
• Lead shifts, enforce policies, and escalate issues to DM/HR as required.
• Ensure merchandising displays adhere to brand standards and manage inventory.
• Develop a high-performing team that consistently delivers guest satisfaction.
