Samsung Electronics America is seeking a role focused on expatriate onboarding and ongoing support for expats in the USA. The position involves concierge services, onboarding coordination, and event planning for a diverse, global workforce.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with experience in policy administration and the ability to work onsite in Plano, TX, Monday through Friday. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 2 years of related experience and a Master’s Degree.
• Knowledge of Korean business culture, etiquette, and practices is a plus.
• Experience in administering and applying corporate policies at the individual level.
• Strong interpersonal verbal/written skills; essential for relationship building with clients.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to be self-sufficient.
• Attention to detail and commitment to administrative responsibilities.
• Onsite customer facing experience.
• Ability to quickly and accurately evaluate a technical situation while managing operational challenges.
• Able to work independently and manage reprioritization of tasks quickly.
• Dress code: Business professional.
• Onsite in Plano, Texas office Monday through Friday.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide CONCIERGE SERVICES to Expats for their US onboarding.
• Provide ORIENTATION AND OTHER ONBOARDING SUPPORT to expats upon arrival, including housing assistance.
• Coordinate events for expats, including seminars and recreational activities.
• Review and prepare expats pre-boarding planning system.
• Maintain ongoing communications with expats regarding subsidies, visa, housing, and other matters.
• Support expatriates with wind-down processes and post-arrival needs.
• Assist with I-9, onboarding, benefits, relocation, and mobility program tasks.
• Conduct regular training for the TA population on expatriate matters.
• Own expat data management and reporting to C-suite.
