Job summary

Samsung Electronics America is seeking a Senior Manager for Global Mobility in Plano, TX to lead expatriate and foreign national processes including PERM, I-9s, and visas. You will oversee a team delivering onboarding, relocation, and compliance services while partnering with leadership on best practices.

The role requires 6+ years of related experience, 4+ years of leadership, and strong vendor management skills, with up to 10% travel and a professional dress code.

Qualifications

• Experience managing PERM, I-9 verifications/reverifications, and visas.
• Experience managing relocations including policy creation, implementation, administration, and oversight.
• Demonstrated vendor management including contract negotiations and invoice management.
• Minimum 6 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 2 years of related experienced and a Master’s Degree
• Minimum 4 years previous leadership/people management experience.
• Knowledge of government regulations, compliance, best practices, and industry trends as they apply to Talent Transition, Global Mobility, Expats, and Immigration.
• Must exercise tact and courtesy with employees, managers, and stakeholders daily.
• Working independently and able to reprioritize tasks quickly based on contract, client, and business situations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 6+ contractors and/or RFTs for background checks, relocations, global mobility, I-9s, visas, and PERM processes.
• Provide onboarding support to EXPATS including housing assistance and government documentation.
• Lead vendor and program management for relocation policies and compliance.
• Lead background checks and I-9 policies, compliance, and adjudication.
• Oversee recruiting, training, coaching, and team development to maintain service quality and SLAs.
• Set goals for the team and drive process improvements in partnership with leadership.
• Support regional HR projects and act as the Shared Service Center face for Talent Transition/Global Mobility items.
