Job summary

Samsung Electronics America in Plano, TX seeks an Expat Concierge to manage US onboarding for expatriates, support visa/Housing needs, and coordinate year‑round events. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, onsite presence, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

The position includes responsibilities from pre‑boarding planning to wind‑down support, with regular collaboration with HR and external providers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 2 years of related experience and a Master’s Degree.
• Knowledge of Korean business culture, etiquette, and practices is a plus.
• Experience administering and applying corporate policies at the individual level.
• Strong interpersonal verbal/written skills; essential for relationship building.
• Onsite customer facing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide CONCIERGE SERVICES to Expats for US onboarding and onsite appearance to assist with DMV, SSA, USCIS, banks, etc.
• Provide ORIENTATION AND OTHER ONBOARDING SUPPORT to expats upon arrival, including housing and personal matters.
• Coordinate as EVENT PLANNER for expats with year‑round events, seminars, and recreation activities.
• Review and prepare expats pre‑boarding planning system.
• Maintain ongoing communications with expats regarding subsidies, visa, housing and related needs.
• Review and process internal administration in NA database and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct individual orientation for new expats, including forms, bank accounts, onboarding, visa questions.
• Prepare organization and external providers for arrival of expats; wind‑down support for departing expats.
• Provide expat data management and reporting to C‑suite; back‑up for all expat matters.
