Job summary

Earth is seeking an Operations Generalist to support expansion in the Atlanta area and beyond. You will join an entrepreneurial launch team to navigate license applications, oversee facility readiness, and coordinate cross‑functional work with product, hardware, policy, legal, and family care teams.

You will report to the Head of Expansion & Compliance and spend significant time on licensing, compliance, and facility launch activities, including site coordination and documentation.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn most tasks from scratch; funeral industry experience not required.
• Excellent writing and communication skills are essential.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a floating resource across product, hardware, policy, legal, family care, and facilities teams.
• Own licensing and compliance tasks across states: filings, renewals, fees, bonds, reporting.
• Lead the facility launch workstream: licensure, inspection readiness, site coordination, and documentation.
• Be the day-to-day contact with state boards and coordinate inspections and approvals.
