Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Current Dental Assistant license or state certification.
• Radiography certification required by state.
• CPR or BLS certification.
• Proficient chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Commitment to sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Maintain CE requirements and expanded functions credentials as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations to support patient flow.
• Support doctors during a range of treatment procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Maintain documentation and chart patient information.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
• Order and manage supplies within practice budget.
• Train staff on patient handoffs and workflow.
• Take dental radiographs and provide post-procedure care instructions.
