Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in Grants Pass, OR. You will perform daily duties to keep patient flow smooth, assist doctors in procedures, and maintain operatory readiness.

You will also handle sterilization, radiographs, and patient education as part of a supportive dental team. The role requires 2+ years of DA experience, state certifications for radiology and expanded functions, CPR/BLS, and a commitment to CE.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dental assistant experience.
• Proficient in chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Must maintain sterilization and infection-control standards.
• CPR/BLS and radiology certifications required by state.
• Annual CE requirements must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily office workflow to maintain productive patient flow.
• Assist doctors during a variety of procedures.
• Breakdown operatory rooms after procedures and prepare for next patients.
• Follow sterilization processes and ensure staff are trained on them.
• Take dental radiographs and educate patients on oral hygiene.
