Job summary

Aspen Dental in Grants Pass, OR is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to support daily patient care in a part-time role. You will assist clinicians, handle radiographs, maintain sterile environments, and educate patients on oral hygiene.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant license or registration as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors and DA office team to maintain productive patient flow.
• Perform expanded functions and assist during various dental procedures.
• Complete sterilization processes and ensure staff complies with infection control.
• Take dental radiographs and provide post-procedure patient instructions.
• Support charting and patient handoffs to colleagues.
• Order and maintain supplies within the practice budget.
• Maintain emergency kits and oxygen supplies as required.
