Kids Dental Brands is hiring an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) in Maumee, OH. The role is full-time and requires CDA or RDA plus EFDA coursework and X-ray certification. The team values compassion, growth, and patient-focused care for children.

Responsibilities include chair-side assistance, radiographs, instrument sterilization, impressions, and patient education. Competitive salary starts at $32.00/hour with up to $600 monthly bonus, onsite schedule Monday to Friday.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

• Assist office managers in supporting and supervising back-office employees

• Takeand processdental radiographs (x-rays)
• Prepareand sterilizeinstruments and equipment
• Takeimpressions of the patient's teeth(models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...
• Teachpatients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
• Askabout the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
• Helppatients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

Compensation and Schedule

• Salary:Starting at $32.00 depending on certifications. Additional increases for experience
• Bonus Pay:up to $600 additional per month
