Job summary

Czarnowski Collective is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to oversee new production projects from start to finish, ensuring they stay on budget and meet deadlines. You will collaborate with internal teams and vendors, coordinating CAD, fabrications, and warehouse activities to maintain project profitability.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple projects while traveling as needed to support project needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years in project management within the exhibit, event, or custom fabrication industry.
• Strong understanding of fabrication methods, including carpentry, metalwork, paint production, tension fabric, and graphic production.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CAD software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and oversee cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills to ensure production accuracy and efficiency.
• Willingness to travel based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Account Director (AD) and/or Account Manager (AM) in driving new construction pricing.
• Take ownership of project budgets and ensure financial accuracy throughout production.
• Enter all production work into the Czarnowski system based on the COMS work order "AS SOLD" submitted by the account team.
• Utilize Czarnowski's web-based workflow system to manage project progress.
• Support project launch meetings with AD and AM to streamline project flow through production.
• Develop and oversee project timelines, ensuring alignment with department schedules.
• Communicate production deadlines to client services and assist timeline development.
• Review and approve CAD drawings, ensuring design accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Oversee production processes and fabricated items, collaborating with shop leads and production managers.
• Assist logistics coordinators in managing warehouse inventory and transportation planning.
• Report quality control concerns to appropriate department managers.
