Job summary

Bednark Studio is seeking experienced Project Managers to lead custom fabrication projects from initial scope and planning through production, delivery, and closeout. Our PMs balance client service, production execution, and budget management while coordinating multiple teams to bring a project from concept to completion.

This role requires clear communication, strong organization, and the ability to manage budgets and schedules in a fast-paced studio setting in New York.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management within custom fabrication, experiential production, or related environments.
• Ability to read, interpret, and redline technical drawings.
• Strong client-facing communication and relationship-management skills.
• Experience coordinating projects across technical, creative, and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day client communication and serve as primary contact throughout the project.
• Coordinate across Draftspeople, Designers, Fabricators, Scenic teams, subcontractors, and production partners.
• Develop builds that balance client goals, budgets, timelines, and shop capabilities.
• Identify production challenges and collaborate with department leads to develop solutions.
• Drive projects through established production processes to maintain efficiency, quality, and schedule.
• Maintain project documentation, estimates, scope changes, and approvals.
