Job summary

The Department of Nutrition and Public Health at the University of Saint Joseph invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track- or non-tenure-track faculty position in exercise science at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor starting in January 2027 or August 2027. The rank and the type of position will be determined by qualifications and experiences.

Qualifications

• Earned masters degree in exercise science, or closely related field is required.
• Earned doctoral degree is required for tenure-track.
• Minimum of two years of teaching in academic programs preferred with curriculum development and online teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate exercise science courses and mentor students.
• Contribute to scholarship and service within the department.
• Support program accreditation efforts and interdisciplinary initiatives.
