Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Part-time Cardiac Rehab professional to lead and teach individualized exercise therapy, monitor patient responses, and document progress. A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach individualized exercise therapy using patient data and status to maximize recovery outcomes and safely improve quality of life.
• Monitor patient responses to exercise to quickly identify abnormal reactions, ensuring patient safety through immediate intervention or physician referral.
• Conduct comprehensive testing and evaluation before and after rehabilitation programs to measure patient progress and celebrate milestones.
• Deliver engaging health and exercise education to patients, team members and the broader community to foster long-term wellness.
• Maintain department equipment and patient records to ensure smooth daily operations, seamless appointment scheduling and high standards of care.
