Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. seeks an accomplished Vice President to lead Transmission & Distribution across the Eastern United States.

You will drive strategic objectives, oversee regional teams, and shape growth, profitability, and customer engagement in a complex, high-value market. You will collaborate with top leadership to set long-term plans, manage budgets, and ensure safety, quality, and performance across overhead transmission, distribution, and substation projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 15+ years of power utility experience.
Significant experience leading overhead transmission, overhead distribution, and/or substation construction operations.
Proven project management with safety, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and operational execution.
Strong customer-development and executive-level customer relationships.
Experience identifying growth opportunities, expanding market presence, and supporting regional business development.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee regional transmission and distribution operations across the Eastern United States.
Execute the strategic vision set by the Senior Leadership team.
Foster a culture of safety, operational excellence, accountability, and profitability.
Support organizational growth through customer development, relationship management, qualification efforts, and bid activity.
Develop and maintain relationships with investor-owned utilities, electric cooperatives, municipalities, renewable developers, and other stakeholders.
