Michels Power, Inc. seeks a Vice President to lead Transmission & Distribution across the Eastern United States, shaping strategy and directing regional teams to drive safe, profitable growth in overhead transmission, distribution, and substation projects.

The role demands deep utility-sector expertise and a proven track record in large-scale project delivery, customer development, and bid strategy, with extensive interstate travel to align operations with corporate objectives and market

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 15+ years of power utility experience with responsibility for a geographic region.
• Experience leading overhead transmission, overhead distribution, and/or substation construction operations.
• Proven project management with safety, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and operational execution.
• Strong customer-development skills and executive-level customer relationships.
• Ability to travel extensively (up to 100%).

Responsabilités

• Lead regional transmission and distribution operations across the Eastern United States.
• Execute strategic vision set by SVP, COO, and President.
• Promote safety, operational excellence, accountability, and profitability.
• Direct regional teams to achieve safety, revenue, margin, and growth objectives.
• Develop long-term business plans for regional growth and market expansion.
• Support organizational growth through customer development and bid pursuits.
• Engage with investor-owned utilities, municipalities, and other stakeholders.
