Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. seeks a Regional Manager – Transmission & Distribution in the United States. Lead regional EPC projects, manage budgets, schedules, risks, and resources while driving profitability across the region.

You will oversee field teams, develop client relationships, and support strategic growth initiatives. Travel within the region is expected; strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in transmission, distribution, substation construction, EPC delivery, or power infrastructure operations.
• Proven success managing large-scale transmission and distribution projects, programs, and regional portfolios.
• Strong understanding of transmission line construction, distribution system construction, substation integration, project sequencing, and risk management.
• Demonstrated financial acumen with experience managing project profitability, forecasting, budgets, and resource planning.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project controls software is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within the region; valid driver's license is required.
• PMP, PE, or other advanced industry certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for transmission and distribution EPC and construction projects across the region.
• Manage regional programs and project portfolios to meet safety, quality, schedule, and financial goals.
• Forecast and plan regional resource requirements based on workloads.
• Visit project sites to support field operations and safety initiatives.
• Directly manage projects and assume PM responsibilities when needed.
• Collaborate with General Manager to grow the region and develop strategic opportunities.
• Address complex operational, project, and program challenges; review management reports.
